One item that should be addressed before continuing on with this resource website and blog is that, even though I grew up as an active member and participant of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I am no longer a practicing member. I was an active member for over 27 years, which included scouting, the young men's organization, serving a full-time two-year mission, receiving the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthood, and other various callings and service. Even though my own personal journey does not include an active membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I understand that everyone’s journey is different and hope that this resource website and blog includes resources and information for everyone, regardless of their religious affiliation or beliefs. I promise to be very sensitive as to not let my own personal bias towards the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints get in the way of helping those members who choose to stay in and apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I commit to presenting resources for both situations, along with scientific facts and information, which I hope will help me overcome this personal bias.
